Stereotactic Radiosurgery is a highly precise form of radiation therapy which will damage the DNA inside cells making them unable to divide or reproduce. Abnormal cancer cells are more sensitive to radiation because they divide more quickly than normal cells. After the treatment, benign tumours usually shrink over a period of 18-24 months
