Biography

Dato Dr Ho Teik Kok MBBS (Univ of Malaya), MRCS (England & Edinburgh), FRCS (UK), PhD (London), CCT (UK) Consultant Vascular / Endovascular & General Surgeon Dato Dr TK Ho completed the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Following the undergraduate study, he immediately went to the United Kingdom to further his training in 1999. He obtained both Memberships of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) of England and Edinburgh in 2003 and completed the intercollegiate exit examination to obtain the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2010. He was awarded the Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Vascular Surgery in 2012 by the University College London as well as the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) by the General Medical Council, UK. He trained under world best vascular surgeons from the Royal Free & University College Hospital, London and is a fully trained general and vascular surgeon. He is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council, UK and the National Specialist Register, Malaysia Dato Dr TK Ho has worked and trained in the United Kingdom over 15 years. He has been recruited from London under the Malaysian Talent Corp Returning Experts Programme to Malaysia to set up and provide a vascular service of international standard at the hospital. His practice in vascular surgery ranges from treatment of spider veins, varicose veins (endovenous laser treatment / EVLT and VNUS / RFA), diabetic foot ulcers, to major surgeries for aortic aneurysms.
